Richard's Philippine Trip Blog
In March Richard will be giving lectures at schools and universities in the Philippines on his investigation into the mysteries of the Monarch chrysalis. Richard was curious about what actually took place inside the chrysalis, so using CAT scans and MRI technology he watched the chrysalis develop into a butterfly. Richard will also be presenting results from a nano-technology experiment where they monitored sounds made from inside the chrysalis. Richard will also be reporting daily on his experiences on this blog, hopefully sending images of native butterflies. Please join Richard on this trip by posting and asking questions.
